Three honored for Model Judiciary Program work

Gov. Tim Kaine presented three YMCA Service to Youth Awards at the opening ceremonies of the Virginia Model General Assembly program held in Richmond last month.
The recipients were Fairfax General District Judge Ian M. O’Flaherty, Reston lawyer Michael J. Holleran and Fairfax Circuit Judge Stanley P. Klein.
The three men all have participated in the Model Judiciary Program for 20 years.
The Model Judiciary Program educates youth about the legal system by giving them the opportunity to try jury trials with selected students advancing to argue before the Supreme Court of Virginia.
